Q1.What kind of terms we need to provide SDAT with to consider introducing a T-coil?
I would like you to show the temperature and flow rate of Spply and Exaust air so that we could desing a T-coil.
Q2.How can T-coil's temperature efficiency be culculated?
T-coil's temperature efficiency can be shown that what percentage in temperarture gap between supply and exhaust air causes exhaust gas temp rise. The cluculatoion fomula is as follows:.
Q3.How high can efficiency of T-coil be at the most?
Efficiency of T-coil can be over 70%, but actually we provide a lot of customers with T-coils that have btween 50 to 60% efficiency considering the spaces installed and cost-benefit performance.
Q4.What is maxmum exhaust temperature that T-coil could recover heat from ?
T-coil can recover heat from between about 380 to 400℃ air that Boiler or Petrochemical plant exhausts. For more information,please contact us.
Q5.How can we mesure the flow rate?
Generally speaking, you should mesure some poins after you make some holes in the duct and put a probe of an anemometer into the hole.
Q6.How can recovered heat be calculated?
Q = Vs × γs × Cps × (T2-T1) × 60 ÷ 3.6
Q :Recovered heat(W) *1W=3.6KJ
Vs :Flow rate of supply air(low temperature fluid)(Nm3/min)
γs :Specific gravity of supply air(low temperature fluid)(kg/Nm3) *When supply is dry : γs=1.293kg/Nm3

Q7.How can T-coil be installed?
T-coil has 3 ways (Vertical way ,Horizontal way and Up and down way) to be installed , though the way needed to be chosen in advance.

Q8.Does T-coil need maintanance to be used?
T-coil doesn't need maintanance to be used except that dust that the air includes have to be washed.
Q9.If exhast air includes some dust,waht mesures do you have?
In order to remove dust of the air, you might want to set a filter ahead of T-coil.
In addition, T-coil can be equipped with inspection windows so that the heat transfer surface can be efficiently washed away by high-pressure washing machine etc.,.
Q10.What measures do you have against the drainage from T-coil?
T-coil can be epuipped with drainage pipes so that the drainage can go away.
Q11.How can the efficiency of T-coil be measured?
Once you can measure the flow rate and temperature of supply and exhast air, you can assess the efficiency of T-coil. in addition, you can assess the efficiency according to confirming whether fuel is used less or not.
Q12.Are there any cautions, when T-coil is disposed of?
There is possibility that some T-coils contain Flourocarbons. Please contact us before you dispose of it.
